South Indian Bank’s Onam film makes a heartfelt call to every Malayali, wherever they are, to come home for Onam. The joyous film, which shows a girl somehow making it to her family home in Kerala in the nick of time for the festival, in the wee hours of night, and then the fun preparations for the sadya with cousins, aunts, uncles all chipping in has a simple premise: “Best returns come from the relationships we invest in”.  “When it comes to relationships, Onam is Malayali’s biggest fixed deposit. We looked into our own lives and families and thus was born this endearing musical punctuated by real conversations as ambient sounds, “ explains Paul Philip, Business Head, Human Stories. The film was written and produced by Aiswarya Suresh and directed by Brijith Bkv of First Picture Show Company.
