The shares of Infosys were trading at ₹1,424.20 up by ₹20.50 or 1.46 per cent on the NSE today at 11.39 am.
Infosys announced it is expanding its decade-long strategic collaboration with AIB, one of Ireland’s largest financial services groups. Under the extended partnership, Infosys will provide application development, maintenance, and support services to accelerate AIB’s digital transformation initiatives.
The renewed agreement will see Infosys leverage its expertise in agile practices and AI-powered tools to help AIB enhance operational efficiency and expedite innovation across its banking platforms. This collaboration aims to further modernise AIB’s technology and data capabilities to deliver improved outcomes for customers.
Graham Fagan, Group Chief Technology Officer at AIB, emphasised that the partnership aligns with the bank’s vision to progressively modernise its technology infrastructure while maintaining a customer-first approach. He noted that Infosys has been a trusted innovation partner for AIB.
Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking & Financial Services at Infosys, called the expanded collaboration a significant milestone for Infosys in Ireland. He stated the company would enable AIB to accelerate business and technology transformation in a rapidly evolving banking environment.
AIB serves approximately 3.35 million customers primarily in Ireland and the United Kingdom, focusing on retail, business, and corporate banking services. Infosys, with over 300,000 employees worldwide, provides digital services and consulting to clients in more than 56 countries, specialising in cloud and AI-powered digital transformation.
