That’s stumps on Day 1! It has been a great day for Test cricket with both England and Pakistan trading blows. England batted first and were bowled out for 267 runs, with wicketkeeper Jamie Smith being the top-scorer (89). Ben Duckett also scored a half-century. For Pakistan, it was Sajid Khan once again, who took six wickets while Noman Ali scalped three and Zahid Mahmood got one. With bat in hand, Pakistan were dented not once, or twice but thrice with the casualties being Abdullah Shafique, Saim Ayub and Kamran Ghulam. Pakistan trail England by 194 runs, with captain Shan Masood and his deputy Saud Shakeel out in the middle. They have their task cut out when play resumes on Day 2 of this series finale in Rawalpindi.
